Three Ridges Golf Course – Public –18-hole course set in the scenic shadows of the Great Smoky Mountains. This course is known for hosting major tournaments and was listed as one of Golf Digest’s “Best Places to Play”. The course includes bentgrass greens, Bermuda tees and fairways, and a treacherous hole 18!
Holston Hills Country Club – Private – 18-hole course designed by Donald Ross in 1927 and known for it’s historical significance to the area.
Dead Horse Lake Golf Course – Public – 18-hole course with recently redesigned bent grass greens, this course prides itself on the best customer service experience around. The course, located in West Knoxville, is flatter than most in the area, but still a good challenge.
Concord Park Par 3 Golf Course – Public – Located along Northshore Drive, this scenic course overlooks Fort Loudon Lake. It’s known for its relaxed atmosphere and affordable rates.
Whittle Springs Golf Club – Public – This 18-hole course was once part of a luxury resort, but it’s now known for hosting multiple tournaments, including the Knoxville City Amateur Championship. Kids under 18 play free with an adult!
Knoxville Municipal Golf Course – Public – Designed in 1984, the course winds through rolling hills for spectacular golf outing. Make sure to stop by the clubhouse for Knoxville Municipal’s famous Chili Dog.
Beverly Park Par 3 Golf Course – Public – Situated on an old farm in north Knox County, this course is perfect for short games and a great place for beginners.
Gettysvue Polo, Golf & Country Club – A private, upscale golf course with top-notch amenities and scenic views. This 72 par course, designed by Bland Pittman, has multiple elevation changes, streams, lakes, and outcroppings.
The club also offers a variety of amenities, including a pool, fitness facility, and a variety of social events.
Fox Den Country Club – Private and host of the Knoxville Open, offering a premier golf experience in the region. Designed and built in 1969 by renowned architect Willard Byrd, then redesigned in 2004 by Bill Bergin, this course includes beautiful rolling hills, wooded areas, and long fairways.
Non-golf amenities include a pool, aquatics club, tennis, pickleball, a fitness center, and upscale dining.
Williams Creek Golf Course – This public course is just outside downtown Knoxville and offers an urban golfing experience. This is an award winning, Tom Fazio designed, 18-hole, par-3 championship golf course ready for a great afternoon of urban fun!
